Oh what a year it has been! Lots of ups, a few downs but so much fun!
We made this Blurb Book to gift to our family for the holidays this year and it is so special to have. If I don't take the time to do this sort of project all of my photos remain in the digital world.
It's so nice to be able to sit and look through an album. Since I can't have everyone over to knit and talk chickens and alpacas with me while we flip through the book together (which I would prefer) let's just pretend that we are. I'll go grab a cup of coffee and wait for you to get yours :)That little box in the right corner with the four arrows makes the book go full screen which I highly recommend. There is one picture of Simonne and me in there that requires the 'full effect'. You'll know it when you come to it.
I have a lot of desires for this new year coming up. 2010 was a year of us settling into our larger family size and all that that entails, just finding a rhythm and also emerging from a preceding year of unemployment. Now, I feel like we can really get down to business. First up, is a huge organizing and de-cluttering project. I know that seems so cliche but it is something I am looking forward to. You have to clear the path for new adventures right?!
HAPPY NEW YEAR! I wish everyone a magical and joyful New Year filled with dreams fulfilled, projects realized, family joy, well being and much, much happiness. See you 'next year'!
xxoo,
Spidey
Lovely book, I'm sure each and every person who received it will cherish it always. Blessed Be.

Your pictures are so lovely, Abi! Your friends and family are very lucky to receive such a beautiful gift!
All the best for 2011, and may there be many more occasions for you to capture them on film.

Thanks you for sharing your day to day and your philosophic thoughts with me (and everyone else). It does help me put the new-me together while I'm finishing up the "Change". I'm 55. This time of life reminds me a lot of adolescence. My capabilities and my responsibilities change big time. My personality (especially as perceived by the outside world) changes somewhat. None of that is not necessarily bad but it's different than what was. To get some kind of happiness/fulfillment, I think you have to have a reasonable fit in the present.
Happy New Year to all in your family. And thanks again.

Awesome book, Abi! You have inspired me to make one of my own in the coming year... Ha! My first resolution. I can't believe it's the last day of 2010. Time flies and all that... Happy New Year to you and your lovely family!

I spent all last week cleaning and just have the big, disasterous office to go! it feels so good, in spite of all the work. I hope the 2011 brings you all much joy and laughter.

Wonderful book, Abi! Thanks for sharing! And thanks for posting a link to make your own. All my pics are in cyberspace too. My mom always wants to see an album, and I think this might just be the best possible marriage of both.
