You should be excited! Eggs in any amount are exciting! You know, we have 60 chickens so I am gathering about 40 a day now give or take. Some are still not laying yet. How many hens do you have?
i borrowed the backyard homestead from the library this week. i am beginning to get very excited about our backyard plans. i wish we had a tad more space though. is that house next door for sale yet?!

yes! we had a small one in the basement that we just brought up! luckily we are only keeping half full by selling eggs each day :)
