Hey there! Remember me? Grab a cup of coffee and sit down. We need to have a chat.
Well, here we go again. In an attempt to reconnect with my blog and decide if blogging is something I am really even interested in doing anymore I am going to post daily. Simple, probably photographic posts. Similar to my 30 Days of Happiness (which I got through 25 days of).
Lately, I have been spending most of my (online) time working on my Etsy shop, on Ravelry and on Facebook. If you're even reading this I don't have to tell you how crap-tacular my posting has been lately. Lame-o. Sorry about that. So MUCH is being created, so MUCH is happening that I am really excited about but this platform hasn't been calling to me lately.
When I go to post I feel as if I have already said what I might want to say in other places. If I have knit something most likely I have just Raveled it. If we've done something really fun that day my Facebook status reflects it. Pictures of the babe all chunky and cute? In my Vaughn Album on Facebook. I have found and sold so much great Vintage but I don't want to post here because it feels like self promotion and that is certainly not what I want my blog to be. Quite honestly blogging feels redundant to me at a time in my life when I have so very little free time.
While I *love* reading blogs I have to see if I like blogging anymore. I hope that makes sense. So here we go...Monday morning begins 30 Days to Blogsville or Bust!
You know my thoughts on blogging, but I do love hearing from you in this format (of course sitting on the floor talking is much better but got to take what I can get now).

I get you completely. I haven't blogged for such a long time and I don't feel the need to. I too use ravelry and it takes care of what the blog used to -keeping track of my knitting. I hope that you make the best decision for you. :)

I agree, as well. The longer I don't blog, the less I feel like doing it. Maybe a twice a month catch-up? If you were on Twitter, I understand you can link your FB and it will automatically go there, as well. (Or is that Friend Feed? Who can remember anymore?) Multi-bases covered even more!
Good luck with your 30 days. :-)

Well, I hope you decide you like it as I love reading about your adventures in New England! Blogville or bust. :)

I am having the same debate too. But in the meantime, I've sent you a friend request so I can keep up with all your spidey adventures that way.

It's hard. There are so many positive things about keeping a blog too,
you know. I didn't seem to get the request. Resend it when you can b/c
I'd love to add you.

So glad to hear about what's new. I have to admit I love keeping up with your blog but also completely understand why you might not want to. Heck - I didn't last 2 months!! I will be keeping my fingers crossed for you though! Be well and enjoy the summer -

Hi Abi! I am glad to see you on the blog again. Your blog is my absolute favorite, and thank you for sharing your life with the world. But I don't mean that as a guilt trip. I totally get the need to get away from the computer...I don't even facebook, in an effort to keep the internet usage down. (and lately, Ravelry has been the happiest time suck ever!) I hope you do whatever keeps you and your family happy, and when I get up to VT, I am totally buying some farm fresh eggs! (will they make the trip back to NYC?) Happy Summer!

Thanks so much Laura. This really means a lot to me. Hey, our plan is
to sell our eggs in the city so while I'd love to meet up in VT
hopefully some day our eggs will be in a Farmer's Market near you ;)
Oh, our relatives are always bringing eggs back to the city. My mom
takes them back on the bus!
