So sad! Damn that bobcat!

Charity

That's so sad - I'm sorry.

karin

Oh dear! That's terrible. Poor Jorn.
But I am glad youn figured out what it was.

Stacey

They were all really growing on me. I hope the new enclosure works. If you guys need an extra four hands for the building give us a call.

KeanaLee

I'm sad. So glad I was part of her life. Great photo. Rest in Peace little ones.

Liz K

Oh, so sad. The bitter with the sweet. Sorry, Ab.

Ann

I'm so sorry Spidey. I hope the new enclosed area will keep that bobcat out.

I am sorry about the loss of your chickens, Abi. Particularly so for Jorn, it can be hard for the young ones to process loss. I am glad that you were able to figure out the culprit however. Wildlife, honestly, the things one has to put up with when living somewhat ruraly!

saunaknitter

So sorry for your loss. Hugs to you!

Laurie (Moo!)

Poor chickens. Darned circle of life. It's why I can't watch nature shows. I hope Jorn is recovering from the loss.

You'll always have those wonderful photo's.

kathy

Sorry about your hens. They are fun things, especially the less chicken-y among them. A neighbor had a chicken when I was growing up (in the Silicon Valley!) that used to chase the chichuchuas down the street. Remember the funny memories...

leslie

so sorry, abi.
