I love the picture, I love the idea of being by the fire with a knitting project and something sweet to eat!!
Wonderful. But here in Argentina is terrible hot nowadays, so I can only eat icecream, no fire no "cozy place" to stay, just some air conditioner!!

That looks so wonderful. I daydream about having a fireplace. Actually the whole life you guys have up there looks pretty nice to me. I also dream about having land, chickens, Alpaca's ect. one day.

You seem to live the life I've always dreamed of. Did you make the slippers?

Yeah it should be a fireside sort of day. Guess we will have you take you up on the overnight next time.

This photo is perfect! You should print it out and put in a place where you can see often. Makes me smile every time I click on your blog in my feeder!

OK. We´ll be happy to host you. We have a wonderful country!!
I read your post everyday and I feel happy when I remember me at your age having the same ideals. There were no web in those days. I´m 53 now, my kids are more or less grown ups, but I love meeting people that lives like you and your family.

Goodness I love this photo! I grew up in a home that only heated by wood, how I miss it! One day we'll have a real wood burning stove, and I can replicate this photo... popcorn and all!
Looks like a LOVELY evening!

At last! Someone else who puts her yarn in a bucket so it won't run away, and uses knotted yarn scraps for stitch counters. Thought I was the only one!
I spent most of yesterday (long, long - like 40 hour power outage) sitting by the woodstove knitting, instead of making progress on various quiltmaking commissions.
Also loved the sequence on the scaredy cat hens and the macho gentleman rooster.
