Why is Simonne jumping up and down?
Because I finally knit her a PINK sweater!
(Vaughn has that 'Would you finish my Arshile already?!' look, doesn't he?)
If this knit looks a bit familiar it's because I have knit one before. It's really such a simple, adorable and quick knit. But, I'll let the pictures speak for themselves. All the knitterly details are on Ravelry along with a few more pictures. When I asked Simonne what kind of sweater she wanted this year her only requirement was that it be pink and she picked out this yarn herself! I didn't have a single yard of pink to be found anywhere in my stash so we had to get some. You don't have to twist my arm to go yarn shopping. And, I love the yarn she chose. I did have to stear her away from some novelty yarn that had sparkles and eyelashes at least once though ;)
She's so happy with the sweater and hasn't taken it off since I finished. I'm sure it will keep her nice and warm this winter.
