Sorry for the unintentional blog break. We've been busy as bees with more surprise parties (Greg's 40th!) and Simonne's 3rd birthday too, which is tomorrow! This carving in wood of our family was given to Greg by one of our dear friends. What a gift! I haven't stopped looking at it and I know that Greg was overwhelmed by the thought and time put into it. 'Art' turned out to be the unplanned birthday theme for Greg. He was also gifted an outstanding (and huge) painting of my brothers, one that he has admired for years and years. It's the fourth one in from this series of paintings that he did which was greatly influenced by time that he spent working along side Mother Theresa in Calcutta, India. I'll have to take a picture of it hanging in our home with one of the kids thrown in there for scale.
We've also added a few new critters to our farm here as well! As soon as I can I'll give a proper update. I hope your summer is off to a wonderful start too! What has been keeping you busy these days?
