I have been wanting to post about this sweater for a long time but finally dragged my pregnant tushie outside to take some pictures yesterday. (Thanks to my sweetie for taking the pictures)
All the details are Raveled here. But I just have to say I am pleased as punch with the way this sweater came out. I wasn't sure how comfortable I'd be with a cardigan where the fronts don't reach to close but I knew that barely anything would close once my belly started burgeoning anyway so I thought pregnancy would be the best time to try it out. It's like wearing a really cozy hug.
My only gripe is the major seem down the back. I know there is a way to just knit this in one piece but I know my brain power limitations while pregnant so I knit it just like Norah said to and it's really ok. The seem was much more obnoxious before blocking.
There you go. One pregnancy sweater blogged and Raveled. One more to go. And one last gratuitous chicken/sweater shot because there's nothing like catching an escape chicken while 8 months pregnant on a driveway that is practically sheer ice ;)
